Angostura Limited, established in 1824, is best known for its flagship product ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters, created by a German Dr. JGB Siegert in Venezuela and eventually moved to Trinidad in 1870. It is consumed the world over and was awarded a Royal Warrant by the Queen of England. The company is also the leading producer of rums in Trinidad and Tobago. In addition to our iconic ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters, orange bitters and Lemon Lime and Bitters, our core rum brands on the market include Angostura® 1787, Angostura 1824®, Angostura 1919®, Angostura® Single Barrel, Angostura® White Oak, Forres Park Puncheon, Fernandes Black Label and Angostura® Royal Oak. Angostura’s international rum range began distribution globally in 2008 and has won gold and silver medals at many international competitions since then. Those sold regionally and internationally include Angostura® Reserva, Angostura® 5-year-old and Angostura® 7-year-old, as well as Angostura 1919®, Angostura 1824® and Angostura® 1787.
